| Lately just realizning that with out Jesus I'm not a good person...
not new news at all, just I not only need Jesus to go about my day, but I'm so much more likely to get angery and not do things routed in love when I dont make a point to meet with the Author of it.

| A lot of you were asking what Battle Cry is and commenting on how bad the statistics are. But the good news is that's what is projected to happen, it doesn't need.
But in order to do that something must change, so to clarify...this is what the Battle Cry is
The Battle Cry is just the name to the movement going on...basically right now it's just trying to spread the word, that unless the current rate of evangelism doesn't change the current teenagers will only have 4% of there generation serving the Lord. So now is the time for action, we must do something, other wise we will be suffering the effects of living in a post Christian country.
We are commissioning youth groups all across the country to double and disciple their Youth Ministry, and equipping them to do this at the same time.
This is where you come In we need to reach up to God, reach in to the Church and Reach out into the community! We need to share the Love of Jesus, we need to proclaim what is Truth from our own lives, not just because it's what we need to do, but because one day someone cared enough about us that they told us!
That is the basics of what what this is all about, it's time to be real!

Yesturday Battle Cry sent out this 'Wake Up' Call Email to thousands of people about the Battle Cry, and what's going to happen if nothing changes in the next few years!
At the current rate of evangelism, it is estimated that only 4% of this generation of teenagers will be Bible-believing Christians by the time they reach adulthood.
34% of adults today are Evangelical believers. Imagine an America at 4%:
It went on to talk about the toll this would take on the church!
The Church is not a building for people to gather around, so this is huge...
Think of the effects of the majority of teenagers growing up with out knowing Jesus. Yes, there will be horrible things for the society, but just image if you grew up and no one took the time to share Jesus with you!.
Realize what's at stack!
Understand where they are coming from!
Never stop telling about what Jesus Did for you!
Let's keep on Running to this Battle, and fight for the faces that the numbers represent!

I can't believe how often I get caught up in all this doing, that I find myself unworthy of the Lord. It's when I lose sight of the Salvation Jesus Christ came to bring and forget that His Grace is sufficient for me, that I attempt to be all of these things, and not how the Lord created me to be...
Ephesians 2: 8
For by grace you have been saved through faith, adn that not of yourselves it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
So I know this, and I refer to it often. However, yesturday I made a statement that I believed something that completely contradicts everything that verses is about, basically saying that I am what I do!
I realize this isn't true, but I wanted to let all you out there know that it's not what we do or what we think or anything of us, but only through the Salvation and Grace that Jesus bought and brought for us, that we are SAVED..
Yes, you may heard this before, but take a moment and just reliaze that despite all of our 'works' and 'failures' we are still fearfully & wonderfully made!
